So if you know someone that is looking for or asking for a mini skateboard as a gift, this should clear it up a bit for you!
Mini skateboard decks are typically much shorter than the larger standard skateboard decks are, these will typically be any where between 30 to 32 inches in length. The mini skateboard decks have several different shapes, some will even have replicating kick flip mini skateboard decks and with symmetrical kick tails located on both ends of the mini skateboard deck. Others are simply replicas of the earlier designs that had been used for skating before the invention of the kick flip deck its self.
Suprisingly there are many college students that are very passionate about skateboarding and they tend to use a skateboard to get to their classes and get around campus; there are even many professionals that are in our workforce that ride bikes and even longboards to work and around town. The mini skateboard can be used to ride on, hidden away out of sight, taken through airports or bus stations, and then put into a carrying case and even into a book bag. The efficiency of this transportation is based off of the boards size which is completely unmatched by any other form of un-motorized transportation that’s out there. Also the mini skateboard is extremely cost efficient and very eco friendly since the mini skateboard decks will use of less materials through the entire production processes all together.
The mini skateboard market is growing more and more. Some companies, like GFH Boards, have turned the mini skateboard into their premiere model rather than almost a novelty, and have these companies even have many different mini skateboard models that they offer. There are other companies out there that do not even bother with the old school mini skateboard concept. Many people have been discouraged with the board’s over all size and truly underestimate the actual capability of the mini skateboard designs. Of course, like any other great product that is in any other market in the world, you need to educate your self and even try out the equipment before you can make a valid and educated judgment on the product.
